Helen Mirren to Receive Festival Career Achievement Award

Helen Mirren will receive the CinemaCon Career Achievement Award at the film festival's inaugural awards ceremony on March 31.

Mirren has starred in numerous films and received an Oscar for her portrayal of Queen Elizabeth II in 2006.  She has also appeared inGosford ParkandThe Last Station.

CinemaCon managing directorMitch Neuhauserexplains the choice saying,"A consummate actress, Helen Mirren has entertained audiences around the globe for over four decades with her stunning performances on the big screen."

She will appear in the upcoming remake of the comedyArthur, alongside Russel Brand.
