Liam Neeson To Take Part In Two Star Wars: The Clone Wars Episodes

Liam Neeson will voice Qui-Gon Jin on two episodes ofStar Wars: The Clone Wars,in which the character is set to appear.

Qui-Gon Jin appeared in the prequels to the original movie series and played a pivotal role in shaping the film.  He will appear in glowing blue force ghost form.

Neeson told Entertainment Weekly,“these characters resonate…even after all these years…. Growing up, my heroes were cowboys; they were strong and mysterious, and it seemed like they always rode off into the sunset. For kids today, Star Wars has that same kind of magic. I really wanted to be a part of that.”

The actor will appear in two episodes ofStar Wars: The Clone Warsthat will air on January 28 and February 11.
