Nominations have been announced for the 2011 Producer Guild Awards! Producer/Director Judd Apatow will host the ceremony on January 22nd. In the past, these awards have been a pretty good indicator for which films will be nominated for the Academy Awards and the coveted Best Picture Oscar.
This year's movie picks include,The Social Network,Black Swan, and127 Hours. Television is also recognized at the awards with,Glee,Mad Men, andTrue Bloodall nominated.
The ceremony will also feature awards for some of the best in film and television producing.
James Cameron will receive the Milestone award; Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman will receive the Norman Lear Achievement Award in Television; and RealD company will get the Vanguard award for achievements in 3D technology.
